A leading PVC resin manufacturer in South East Asia needed continuous centrifuges to process a total solids throughput of 30t\/h of PVC resin at their new processing facility. Broadbent successfully secured the order to supply two large 1000 mm x 1500 mm continuous horizontal solid bowl decanter centrifuges. Each machine is designed to process 15t\/h PVC resin, twice that of the old machines which had been produced by another manufacturer.<\/p>\n

Commissioning results showed significantly lower final solids discharge moisture than that experienced from their old machines. The new Broadbent centrifuges also consistently delivered less than 50 ppm suspended solids in the centrate stream.<\/p>\n

The centrifuges were installed and commissioned ahead of schedule and hit their design process guarantees within the first week of commissioning. These excellent outcomes were a testament to the efficient plant operation by the owner and the engineering and process support from Broadbent Thailand and the superb working relationship developed with our client.<\/p>\n

This successful project and improved performance efficiency has resulted in plans to replace four smaller units on the same site with two further Broadbent units.<\/p>\n
